Silver naturally tarnishes with exposure to air and the environment. Contact with perfume, chlorinated/salt water or household cleaning products should be avoided. Silver is a malleable metal; therefore be gentle with earring posts, clasps, chains as they can be bent or break under excessive force. I advise that you keep your jewellery in the box it came in.
Cleaning
Pour a small amount of mild soap into lukewarm water and use a small soft toothbrush to clean your jewellery. RG jewellery has a matte finish, which will be kept by cleaning with a mild soap and water and then brushing gently with a scrubby pad. Work the pad lightly and gently in a circular motion across the silver.
